Welcome!

Based in Oneonta, New York, our league is open to players aged 4-12 who live or go to school in the following school districts: Oneonta, Charlotte Valley, Franklin, Laurens, and Schenevus.

Player's age is calculated as of May 1, 2025. Children who will turn 4 between May 1 and August 31 are eligible for T-ball.

This is a list of bats that have been approved by USA Baseball, and recognized by Cal Ripken Baseball as approved. Please check this list prior to purchasing a new bat, and make sure that your current bat is approved for the 2024 Season!

Oneonta Youth Baseball offers programs for children ages 4-12 that offer the experience of a team-based sport taught by volunteers. The emphasis is on fun, learning, and friendship through baseball.

T- Ball ages 4-5-6

The newest youth baseball parents often have the youngest children in the program. A family’s youth baseball experience can begin when the child is four years old, by registering to play Tee Ball.

Our Story

Since 1955, the Oneonta Youth baseball league has provided a top-quality baseball program for children of all ages. Dedicated volunteers and parents have created and continue to offer your child a safe, competitive, and great learning experience.

Baseball ages 7-12

The Oneonta Youth baseball program includes ages 7–12. In addition to practicing on-field fundamentals and the excitement of playing games in a competitive environment, Oneonta Little League Baseball works to strengthen its participants’ self-esteem and confidence.

Regardless of physical size, skill, strength, gender, religion, or nationality, Oneonta Youth Baseball offers children the opportunity to experience and benefit from the life lessons, socialization, and camaraderie that are the program's cornerstones.

Rookie League (Machine Pitch) Ages 7-8.

Minor League (Child Pitch) Ages 9-10.

Major League (Child Pitch) Ages 11-12.
